Meet Branding: Jimmy Clark, Brand Designer
27th October 2017, 9:13am
It's Friday, and what better way to celebrate than by introducing you to our chief creative mastermind, Jimmy Clark!
How long have you worked for Godfrey Syrett?
Coming up to five years now…
What does your role entail?
I’m chiefly responsible for the Godfrey Syrett brand, so it entails a wide range of creative design work – from business cards and brochures, to building signage and vehicle livery. A big part of my job is to continually evaluate and evolve the brand, ensuring that we’re represented in the best possible way, at every possible opportunity. I also work closely with our marketing team and the product designers to find the best way to promote our products, business and services.
What is your favourite part of your job?
Working on large scale creative projects such as brochures, especially when they come back from the printers. I also enjoy working on photo shoots, promoting our products.
Describe your dream holiday:
Road tripping in a 1960’s Corvette Stingray, though southern Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Croatia. And then back again.
Complete the sentence: outside of work, I can most often be found….
Eating a pie or running along the North East coast – though not usually at the same time.
