How long have you worked for Godfrey Syrett?
What does your role entail?
Load planning all deliveries leaving our Distribution Centre at Belmont, management of drivers (HR, absence, sickness, training etc.) and managing all sub-contract hauliers required to deliver on our behalf. I am responsible for ensuring that we comply with legal requirements for Operator Compliance and UK/EU driving regulations.
A big part of my job is ensuring that we deliver to the customer as per their requirements, and offer excellent customer service when delivering products.
What is your favourite part of your job?
I enjoy planning our loads and working with my team - the drivers - to ensure that we provide an excellent service to our customers.
What is the one thing you could not live without?
Inside work - our tracker system. Outside of work, my family, doggies & my Kindle.
