Cardiff University, Hadyn Ellis Building

The Hadyn Ellis Building at Cardiff University is a striking landmark development, at the heart of the Maindy Park research campus.
The £30M Building is named in honour of its late Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hadyn Ellis. The Hadyn Ellis Building brings many benefits for staff, including purpose-built facilities for cutting-edge research and space for greater public involvement in our work. This involves development of several high-quality buildings and of the space surrounding those buildings, phased over ten to fifteen years. The Hadyn Ellis Building has been the first of these.
The Building has many uses. It is a focal point for collaboration by all of the University’s schools. It encourages the launch of new research ventures, it provides impressive venues where research can be showcased to the public, business and other partners.
