25th August 2015, 10:55amThe Curzon Building is a state-of-the-art facility at the BCU City Centre Campus, which following this development, is home to Business, English, Law and Social Sciences students. The impressive building provides a student support hub as well as a new library, teaching and IT space, plus other student-facing facilities. This project also included the complete restoration of a Victorian pub, The Eagle and Ball, which will offer a unique new home to the Students Union.
Working in Partnership with both the University Project team and Wilmott Dixon Construction, the Godfrey Syrett team produced layouts, plans and used BIM modelling, we made furniture suggestions to cut costs without affecting the overall look of the building.
The finished installation incorporates an innovative use of space, with modern furniture with enhanced colour and texture.
