15th May 2017, 10:00amWe're taking our wares to the UK’s leading design festival in London this month.
Having witnessed first-hand the evolution in furniture design and manufacturing processes since our birth in 1947, we'll be exhibiting our latest innovative designs at this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week.
Stephanie Knox, marketing executive at Godfrey Syrett said:
“This is the first time we have exhibited at Clerkenwell Design Week and we are very excited to be showcasing furniture which has been designed and manufactured by our very talented staff here in the North East.
Clerkenwell is widely considered one of the most important design hubs in the world, so this is a fantastic opportunity for our in-house team of designers to gain recognition on a global scale, whilst learning about up and coming trends.
Our stand’s theme ‘Rethink Your Workspace’ will focus on the ever-changing face of the modern workspace, something we see first-hand in the projects we complete, and the continued blurring of the lines between domestic and contract furniture.”
Clerkenwell Design Week, which is in its eighth year, attracts the international design community and last year attracted 34,973 attendees and over 300 exhibiting brands.
We will be exhibiting products from our Flexible Working collection, designed to address the ‘domestification of the office’ trend – incorporating muted fabrics, integrated electrics and wooden frames on soft seating. Among the items on display will be the next generation of Zip, our modular furniture solution which zips and unzips to be reconfigured into a variety of layouts. We will also be launching a commemorative range of minimalist tables and stools, named Harry and Ken after our company’s founders, Ken Godfrey and Harry Syrett.
Clerkenwell Design Week will take place from 23rd – 25th May 2017 - come along and see us on stand PA4, Project exhibition!
