Our new conference and training facility is now open!

Our brand new conference and training facility, which is free of charge to North East businesses and anyone in the local community, has been officially opened this week at our Killingworth headquarters.
 
We have recently invested £100,000 in fully refurbishing the first floor of our head office building to create a modern, flexible conference facility which features designer furniture and high specification multimedia equipment with free Wi-Fi.
 
The new facility – which we have named Hub47 in a nod to 1947, the year that the company was established - has a 28-seater conference and training suite which can be re-configured to suit a variety of uses and layouts. The suite has whiteboards and a full audio visual system with a 70-inch interactive touchscreen TV. There are also breakout spaces for flexible working and hot desking, a media working centre, kitchen and catering facilities, as well as a 10-seater boardroom which also features a large screen.
 
Our managing director, Neil Tweddle said: “We have created a space which is very flexible and can accommodate all types of working. Businesses can to book the space by the hour or by the day and use it for meetings, training sessions, team building - or even just to try out a different working environment. We are offering the Hub47 facility to North East businesses completely free of charge in a bid to establish connections within the commercial sector.”
